I recently stayed at a charming cottage in a tranquil and secluded location. The cottage had a quirky character and was tastefully furnished. The log burner in the lounge created a cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing evenings. The cottage also had a beautiful garden with a barbecue area, which I can imagine would be good during the summer months. The surrounding views were amazing and the quiet surroundings made for a relaxing getaway. I also appreciated the fact that the cottage was dog-friendly, as my Great Dane had a fantastic time running around in the spacious garden. Despite a few minor drawbacks like steep stairs to the bedroom and a slightly basic shower room, the overall standard of the cottage was really good. I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone seeking a quiet and idyllic retreat.

The bathroom was lovely, with a choice of either a relaxing bath or a refreshing shower. As someone who enjoys a good soak, this was a great feature to have in the room.
I personally found the location a bit far from the town center, but others might appreciate the quietness of the area.

The location was amazing, tucked away in a peaceful and secluded area but still within easy reach of everything we needed. The cottage itself had a charming and unique character, with a modern kitchen equipped with everything we needed. The atmosphere was cozy, especially with the wood burner adding warmth on chilly evenings. We also appreciated the multiple seating areas in the garden, perfect for enjoying meals or just relaxing. Plus, being dog-friendly, our furry friend had a blast exploring the spacious garden and nearby walking trails.
The stairs leading up to the bedroom were quite steep and narrow, making it a bit tricky to navigate in socks or slippers. the driveway was not suitable for lowered cars, which resulted in us having to leave one vehicle at the bottom.

Hiking, windsurfing, and cycling all in one place? Who knew? Free WiFi and parking were just icing on the cake.
I didn't particularly enjoy the experience of having towels available. Such a hassle, you know?
